Altidore misses practice after getting sick. Buddle and Gomez to start?

Uh, oh. Star forward Jozy Altidore unexpectedly missed practice today because he was sick, according to FIFA.com. “Jozy just wasn’t feeling well, but he will be fine for tomorrow,” coach Bradley said, suggesting Altidore would be fit to start against Algeria in the final group stage game.

Provided he’s not ready, however, Bradley would likely need to start Edson Buddle and Herculez Gomez at forward—an intriguing combination, to be sure, given their penchant for scoring a lot of goals.

Either that or move Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey from their traditional midfield positions. Either way, I say Buddle should have the opportunity to start. You?
