Are these the official USA jerseys of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa?
Oops. Nike seems to have unveiled their own USA soccer jersey by accident yesterday, via a European patent filing.
Reports Football Shirt Culture: “It is logical that sports companies around the world register just about anything. Nike did just that. But they should have registered the designs one day before the official presentation, because they are now on the Internet. This time around, Nike has leaked its own shirts.”
Bad for them. Good for us. As for the shirts, I’m digging the away jersey, but not so sure about the home one. Why the black collar? Ah well, maybe they’ll look better when accompanied by shorts and worn by living, breathing humans.
