ESPN interviewed Landon Donovan over the weekend. Although his stated World Cup ambitions of “getting out of the group” are still too tempered, Donovan represents the National Team well. Best line of the interview: “It was still a handball,” in reference to the controversial loss to Germany in the 2002 quarterfinals.
