This scholarship is open to the student-athletes in CCU’s College of Undergraduate Studies who have the recommendation of the CCU Athletics Department. The amount of the scholarship varies, so does the application deadline. However, the recipients of the award must maintain and record satisfactory progress in their academics, unless there are changes from the Athletics Department.

The criteria to be used in determining the eligibility of applicants and the amounts to be awarded are subject to change.

WWU Scholar-Athlete Award

The WWU Scholar-Athlete Award is available for athletes in a variety of sports including soccer, tennis, cross country, basketball, track and field, softball, golf and women’s volleyball. The awards range from $3,000 to $5000, and coaches look at the talent and skill of the player to determine the recipients of the awards.

For an athlete to be eligible for this award, they must have an ACT of 27, and a WWU GPA of 3.0 is also required for renewal.

Shelby County Youth Scholarship Fund

The Shelby County Youth Scholarship Fund is open for high school seniors who are enrolling to a college or university, technical school, or a trade school. The applicants must have played for not less than four years for Ohio Extreme Soccer Club South, Shelby County Alliance or Shelby County Youth Soccer in Ohio.

The deadline for application is February 15, 2019, and applicants must have maintained a GPA of 2.5. There are two awards, and one scholarship is for a female applicant, and the other is for a male applicant.

Massachusetts Youth Soccer Student Scholarship

The Massachusetts Youth Soccer Student Scholarship is awarding two scholarships to one female and one male student. The scholarship is open for high school seniors who are planning to attend a post-secondary institution of learning. The deadline for applying for this particular scholarship is on May 1, 2019, and for one to be suitable to apply for this scholarship, they must have had ties or affiliations to Massachusetts Youth Soccer for the last two years.

The applicants must come up with an essay not exceeding 500 words describing the positive impact the game has had on their lives. Further, the applicants must fill out and submit the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Application for Scholarship together with other relevant supporting documentation.

Augustana College Athletic Grant

The Augustana College Athletic Grant is awarded to a student based on their talent, skill or academic performance. The scholarship also requires a duly completed application for admission and scholarship. Students who want to apply for this scholarship must earn a GPA of at least 3.0 while enrolled at Augustana College for them to maintain these scholarships in years to come.

The application deadline for this scholarship varies, so does the amount to be awarded. The Augustana Athletic Grants are awarded to student-athletes who are outstanding, NCAA Division II and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
