Video proof that Dempsey is our third best player — USA Soccer Stud

For reasons that are beyond me, a vocal minority of fans last year came down on U.S. midfielder Clint Dempsey. “He’s just sort of out on the field, not really doing anything,” a handful of sportswriters wrote of his year-end performances. There was even talk at the time, more out of frustration than logic, that maybe he shouldn’t start for the team.

Through it all, however, Dempsey has remained one of our team’s biggest assets, right behind Tim Howard and Landon Donovan. If you need a reminder of that, watch the above video. Then be thankful Dempsey’s on our team.
